More lanes will be added to Providence Road and Ardrey Kell Road and it will bring much-needed relief in the near future, but how much is still to be determined. Not everyone likes change, but in an already busy part of Providence Rd, I think construction is very well managed and I never feel they impede on traffic in an undue way when I drive through there. With that being said, I don't live in the area so I cannot speak on the direct impact it causes on a day to day basis especially during rush-hour.
